According to a recent survey, investor confidence in the euro zone saw its sixth consecutive monthly improvement in April, reaching its highest level in over two years.

The Sentix index climbed to -5.9 points from -10.5 in March, surpassing analysts' expectations of -8.5. Despite Germany's continued sluggishness, there are encouraging signs of economic revival.

Sentix highlighted the ongoing economic recovery both in the euro zone and globally, indicating a potential sustainable upturn. Although Germany's performance improved to its best since February 2022, it remains a challenge compared to other major industrialized nations.

In April, the expectations index for the euro zone reached 5.0 points, marking the seventh consecutive monthly increase and hitting its peak since February 2022. Additionally, the index reflecting the current economic situation improved to -16.3 from -18.5 in March, marking the sixth consecutive monthly rise.
